How do you decide when your business requires professional help? Here are five warning signs that help is needed:
When there is not enough time. You find yourself spending so much time on bookkeeping that you are all ways behind or in a rush to complete critical work.
When there is not enough money. You know you are busier than before and you are making more money than before, but you don't seem to be making as much profit.
When you don't understand financiers. Maybe you want to expand your operations or try to attract some additional investors into your business, but you don't have the time or knowledge necessary to move forward and are not sure where to turn.
When you don't understand your reports. You may have excellent accounting software which generates tons of reports, but you don't understand what they mean. Perhaps you are not even using accounting software and everything is still on paper and excel, and therefore you can't even generate the reports you need.
When you don't have enough knowledge about taxes. You believe your tax bill is higher than it could be, but because you are afraid of an audit you forgo deductions you could legally take.
